Robert and Melissa O'Leary established AÍDA Medical Consultants in 2024 to drive innovation and address the "grey areas" in the healthcare industry. They saw a need for improved documentation, personalized services and most importantly, autonomy of choice for their physicians.
Before their careers in the medical industry, Melissa graduated with honors from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Robert was a small boat crewman aboard US Coast Guard Cutter Waesche.
They met in 2015 working together as special ed paraprofessionals - Melissa went on to be a successful real estate agent and Robert, a nutritionist and trainer at Equinox Gyms. In 2020, Robert attended a diabetic conference in Utah where he was inspired by the opportunity to work with physicians and learn about diabetes beyond his current training.
Melissa promptly offered her expertise and they established their business together in Wilton, CT. Their experiences before AÍDA still help them today - Melissa maintains her values of "quality over quantity" and Robert understands the factors that activate and diminish the healing process.
AÍDA Medical Consultants is named after Robert's late Grandmother, Aída, which later became the acronym that embodies their company's mindset towards healthcare, "Always Implementing a Diversified Approach"
